Apple Music Redesign

This concept of Apple Music explores how Apple can make its product better and integrate it more with its vast ecosystem of software and hardware. I’m not Apple, Spotify or Jay-Z so I based my thoughts on my own experiences and expectations.

The Core Loop

For me, using a music streaming service is a constant exploration, a never-ending process of discovery. When you discover something great, you don’t want to lose it and when this great track is bookmarked, you can sit back, relax and listen.

The Apple Ecosystem

Right now Apple Music is a pretty standard service. I’d love to see how the whole ecosystem comes to play. How the data collected from my iWatch or iPhone translates into curated playlists created just for me.

The Design

Apple Music or rather iTunes, needed major UI improvements. The iTunes architecture wasn’t good enough to handle all features: music, videos, their store, streaming service, podcasts, books and so on. That’s why I thought it should be redesigned — the whole app architecture and structure

Prominent Search Results View

I love when search results are well arranged, sorted into logical groups. It helps me to scan through the results quickly. I’ve also decided to cover most of the screen with search results to make the search experience better.
